FACULTY

The Center supports King's faculty and departments in numerous ways, including grant programs, workshops, and facilitating community projects.  While the Center's primary area of interest is service-learning, it also serves to promote civic enagement initiatives and research programs.  Please contact Bill Bolan, Shoval Center Director, if you would like information or if you would like to set up a consult session.

COMMUNITY MEMBERS

The Shoval Center serves as a "one-stop shopping" center for community agencies and organizations that would like the assistance of King's College. This assistance includes research expertise, consultations, translation services, volunteers, and use of King's facilities.  If you think you might benefit from a service that King's could provide, please contact us.

Shoval Center Safe Haven Project

In the Spring 2008 semester, four King's classes were involved in a research project to support a proposed homeless shelter for the mentally ill.  Click here to see the results.
